XDESC & Lean In Barcelona Presentation

Dear members and supporters,

As announced in our June newsletter, we’re excited to share our new collaboration with Lean In Barcelona! This partnership aims to support and empower women in our community.

We invite you to attend the official launch event on Thursday, September 26th at Casal Torreblanca in Sant Cugat del Vallès. The event will run from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

About Lean In Network Barcelona

Lean In is a vibrant community of professional women in Barcelona and its surrounding areas. They are dedicated to sharing experiences, ideas, and knowledge to help each other achieve their goals, regardless of industry, career stage, or professional background. They offer “Circles”; group sessions where women can learn and grow together. Any member can propose a circle to share expertise, gain new skills, or offer mutual support.

Lean In Network Barcelona is part of the global Lean In Foundation, established by Sheryl Sandberg in Silicon Valley in 2007. The Barcelona chapter was founded by Ikuska Sanz in 2016 and is currently led by Eva Blanco (since 2019).

Since its inception, Lean In Barcelona has grown to nearly 2,000 members and has established 29 Circles. In Sant Cugat, the Sant Cugat Moms Lean In Cercle offers support and resources to expatriate mothers living there. Led by Laia Nieva (a member of XDESC), this circle helps women navigate the challenges of balancing motherhood and career advancement.
